Oddly Precognitive Photos Told the Story: Obama vs. Putin, The Images

For those who are adept at reading and de-coding the implied nuances of subconscious body language, the signs have been there for at least 6 months – all was not well between Obama and Putin last summer at the G8 summit. News orgs and reporters all took note.  As far back as June of last year, relations were chilling rapidly between Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin over the topic of Syrian war atrocities and other related issues. As a footnote to unfolding world events, here are some of them, re-posted for the record.

The photos tell an enigmatic, mutating story:  The warm broad grinning vigorous hand shaking photos were apparently trumped up for news cameras and official state photos, but all appearances of mutual congeniality faded quickly once the “official photo session” ended. Some photographer who was clever managed to capture a few stills of the REAL mood that was taking place between these two men. The contrast is exceptional.  These two world leaders both put on an Oscar winning performance for State cameras, which faded quickly once the “official photo session” ended. I’d be inclined to call all of this dark comedy, except that none of this is funny any more. Not funny at all.

I found other photos from months back where a meeting of the two men looked more like some sort of bizarre ‘prom date gone wrong’ moment than two world leaders discussing state business. No, seriously, check out these photos. It’s interesting to note that Barack Obama towers over Vladimir Putin when the two men stand side by side. He appears to be as much as 6-8″ or more taller than Putin, who looks almost comically smallish when standing next to Obama shoulder to shoulder.

Obvious dis-engagement caught as it occurred: [ Below ] U.S. President Barack Obama holds a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the G8 summit at the Lough Erne resort near Enniskillen in Northern Ireland, June 17, 2013.

In warmer cozier days gone by, Vladimir Putin could spin a yarn that would make Obama break into a broad horsey grin. Check out these photos:
