Last week I had a heated discussion with a close friend as we were watching TV. An NBC sitcom character prominently mentioned and opined on her healthcare costs et al, in a television moment which was nauseating in it’s implications. I mentioned to my friend that Hollywood was in bed with Washington DC to help them implement Obamacare and that the script for the TV show was “by design” for just that reason – to pitch and sell Obamacare to the nation, in an alarming and overtly indoctrinational manner. [ There is a reason they are called “TV programs” – as the population is routinely programmed by what they watch to behave in certain ways and believe certain things, etc. ] My friend stated that it was impossible that Hollywood would be “selling” Obmacare and that the script must have been coincidental. I told she was naive and quite gullible and needed to read more, then we had a good laugh about it, but I wasn’t laughing on the inside one bit. Now comes your post and thank you for this. It’s appalling, but the truth has to be published and people need to realize that TV “entertainment” is not merely entertainment in some cases. It’s overt social engineering on a mass scale.
Thanks to a $500,000 grant from The California Endowment, the Hollywood Health & Society, associated with with the USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center, will \”help TV writers tell better stories about the new health insurance law.\”
Try to contain your excitement.
And apparently we “learn from TV.”
Do you learn from TV?
So… we learn from TV… but TV, movies, and video games have no effect what so ever on people?
Which one is it, folks?
